The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated, self-directed professional to fill a Software / Systems Engineer role in Chantilly, VA, to support the customer’s modernization effort. The successful candidate will be the lead for design, build, and deployment of highly scalable, resilient, performant cloud microservices, develop code using various programming and scripting languages, and adhere to approved design plans and coding standards, as well as identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options. The candidate will collaborate with the user interface designer(s) to ensure seamless integration and will focus on innovating new and better ways to create solutions that add value. The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure system needs are met.  The CIT program is specifically seeking candidates with experience in Python, AWS, RDS, and file-based storage systems.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years supporting this sponsor’s application and development environments
  • 10+ years AWS administration.
    • Demonstrated experience to build new instances, modify load balancers, manage secrets manager,  etc.
  • 5+ years Oracle (primarily SQL) skills
    • Ability to write custom queries to answer management questions, provide custom reports.
  • 5+ years Oracle DBA skills to backup/restore databases, create indexes, write stored procedures, establish database links, etc.
  • 3+ years experience with basic LINUX skills for server administration.
  • 10+ years with demonstrated experience with Software and Systems Project Management / Systems Engineering skills
    • Software development program management, JIRA, Confluence, release tracking, etc.
    • Support outreach activities to customer applications and enterprise services to develop transition strategies for migrating capabilities to the multicloud infrastructure.
    • Develop and present project plans and briefings to support the customer project management framework.
  • 10+ years with demonstrated experience Java, Python to help debug software issues.
  • 5+ years experience with Groovy/Grails a big plus as that is what the legacy system is written in
  • 5+ years experience with LDAP queries and management. Administration of LDAP servers a big plus.
  • 10+ Years experience navigating A&A administration and achievement of ATO. 
    • Experience with PO&AMs to meet A&A requirements and maintain system ATO.
  • 10+ Years Development support – rebuilding in Python/Angular
    • Writing requirements for the new system, architecting the design, and testing iterations, which includes setting up the dev/test environments.
  • Strong Customer service and communication skills
  • Strong Technical and functional documentation skills
  • Requires Active TS SCI Poly

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$114,600-$252,100
