Ready to be a Titan?
At ServiceTitan, we build technology that powers the trades — and we believe our internal technology should set the same bar for quality, scale, and experience.
We're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Corporate IT Infrastructure team. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role responsible for designing, deploying, and operating our Azure cloud environment, on-premises server infrastructure, and enterprise automation capabilities. You will help define how we build and scale our infrastructure as ServiceTitan continues to grow.
What You'll Do
Own Azure Cloud Infrastructure
Design, deploy, and manage Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, and identity services
Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and/or Bicep for repeatable, version-controlled, auditable deployments
Drive cloud cost optimization, security posture, and reliability across our Azure environment
Work with Azure Microsoft Foundry and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations to support AI-powered internal tooling
Manage On-Premises & Hybrid Infrastructure
Administer Windows Server and Linux environments across on-prem and hybrid deployments
Manage Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP, and directory integrations including Okta sync health
Maintain and optimize VMware virtualization infrastructure (ESXi, vCenter)
Own server lifecycle: provisioning, patching, decommissioning, and capacity planning
Build Automation & Drive Engineering Efficiency
Develop PowerShell, Bash, and Python scripts to automate repetitive infrastructure tasks
Apply AI-assisted development tools to accelerate scripting, operational efficiency, and documentation
Identify opportunities to reduce manual toil through proactive tooling and workflow improvements
Maintain ticket discipline and workload visibility for all infrastructure activities
Partner Across the Business
Collaborate closely with Help Desk, Security, and Identity teams to reduce friction and improve shared workflows
Produce and maintain accurate, comprehensive runbooks and system documentation
Proactively surface infrastructure risks and improvement opportunities to leadership
What You'll Bring
5+ years of hands-on experience in a Systems Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer role
Deep Azure infrastructure expertise — compute, networking, identity, storage, and hybrid connectivity
Proficiency with Terraform and/or Bicep
Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and/or Bash or Python
Solid experience administering Windows Server and Active Directory in enterprise environments
Linux server administration in production environments
VMware virtualization experience (ESXi, vCenter)
Experience with enterprise identity platforms such as Okta and Azure AD / Entra ID
Hands-on experience applying AI and automation tools to infrastructure operations
Strong communication skills and a track record of cross-functional collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure Microsoft Foundry and/or Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations
Azure certifications: AZ-104, AZ-305, or equivalent
Demonstrated ability to move from reactive support to proactive infrastructure ownership
How Success Is Measured
Infrastructure reliability and reduction in unplanned incidents
Increased automation coverage and reduction of manual operational toil
Timely, well-documented project delivery with measurable business impact
Strong cross-functional partnerships with Help Desk, Security, and Identity teams
