We are currently looking for Systems Engineer to join our team in Decherd, TN onsite 5 days a week.

The Systems Engineering group supports manufacturing, supply chain, and facility operations by assisting with specifying, designing, installing and supporting communication, control, quality, and monitoring systems in assigned areas. Provides systems modifications as required to support model changes. Assists with specifying, designing, and installing new and modified process equipment in assigned areas. Assists with maintenance of existing process equipment.


A Day in the Life:   

  • Provides system problem solving; ensures continuous reliability and uptime improvement, accuracy and ease of use enhancements, analysis of trends and symptoms, and identification of missing or misleading information in assigned areas.
  • Ability to work in team environment to develop, test, and implement software/hardware solutions in a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while keeping projects on-time and within budget.

Who We’re Looking for:      

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have above average troubleshooting and problem solving.

Computer Skills and Technical Requirements:

  • GE Cimplicity or Manufacturing Execution Systems experience a plus
  • Required: SQL-Server & TransAct SQL
  • Microsoft .Net C#, SQL, J-Query, Java Script, ASP.NetMVC, WebAPI
  • Proficient experience in scripting languages (KendoUI for J-Query, PowerShell, etc.)
  • Object oriented programming and design
  • Ability to collect, analyze and develop solutions that meets/exceeds customer requirement

Years of Experience:

  • 2 to 3 years overall IS/IT experience with application and systems development experience 
  • Min 2 years of experience working with third party vendors. 

Education

  • A four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or technology related field required.
