The Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities team is seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer II – Test Execution to plan and execute complex integration and verification test events. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in system integration and testing. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge missile defense technologies in a collaborative and innovative environment.
What You Will Do:
Support testing effort: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification in both simulated and real-world environments
Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed analysis and debugging
Drive Performance: Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues
Modeling and Analysis: Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation
Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems in field test and hardware in the loop environments, evaluating their functionality and impact.
Collaborate: Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality
Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements, and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders
Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 15%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations occurring primarily during first shift and part time section shift hours.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or system test
Experience with generating technical documentation, such as test plans, procedures, or technical reports
Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain a Final Secret U.S. government issued security clearance after start
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS or equivalent) and configuration control practices
Experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or in the field supporting integration and/or verification
Experience with MATLAB, Python, JavaScript, C/C++ and/or other programming languages
Experience with IP protocols, networking, communication protocols, and/or Linux

The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
