Responsible for the implementation and installation of medical and other equipment/infrastructure to include coordinating, contractors, internal/external customers, internal/external infrastructure regulatory requirements, material procurement/deployment, completion of all close-out documentation and supporting the implementation testing in the internal test lab or other areas. Responsible for conducting CTS implementations including solving installation issues, controlling costs, adhering to installation timelines/deadlines, software/hardware installation, and being a productive team member. A Brief Overview
Responsible for the implementation and installation of medical and other equipment/infrastructure to include coordinating, contractors, internal/external customers, internal/external infrastructure regulatory requirements, material procurement/deployment, completion of all close-out documentation and supporting the implementation testing in the internal test lab or other areas. What you will do
  • Prepares for implementation and installation of medical and other equipment
  • Oversees implementation and installation of equipment and supports implementation testing and the internal lab test.
  • Handles billing processes for project when completed.
  • Completes all pre-installation documentation including permits, design documents and regulatory documents.
  • Completes all post-installation documentation including permits, design documents and regulatory documents.
  • Performs other job functions as assigned or requested.

Education/Formal Training Requirements
  • Associate's Degree Biomedical Engineering
  • Associate's Degree Electronics
  • Associate's Degree Information Technology

  • Bachelor's Degree Electrical Engineering
  • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology

Work Experience Requirements
  • 3-5 years Biomedical equipment installation/repair
  • 3-5 years Electronics repair
  • 3-5 years IT support

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to understand and prepare written materials, such as equipment manuals.
  • Ability to communicate in verbal and written form with all levels of Associates, physicians, and equipment manufacturers and vendors.
  • Ability to work without close supervision and to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to organize tasks, set priorities, and maintains control of workflow with excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to complete and close out Facilities and SCCE permits.
  • Ability to complete all close out documentation utilizing ACAD and/or Microsoft Visio.
  • Basic understanding of IT network administration, server maintenance and operating software.

Supervision Provided by this Position
  • There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this job, except that the incumbent may occasionally demonstrate various job responsibilities to other Associates.

Physical Demands
  • The physical activities of this position may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion.
  • Must have good balance and coordination.
  • The physical requirements of this position are: medium work - exerting up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 25 lbs. of force frequently.
  • The Associate is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity, such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; or extensive reading.
  • The Associate may be required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or infrastructure.
  • The Associate may be required to have visual acuity to operate motor vehicles or heavy equipment.
