We are seeking a Systems Engineer to conduct engineering activities across Electronic Warfare (EW), Integrated Air and Missile Defence (IAMD), Counter-Uncrewed Air System (C-UAS) and Communications Systems projects.

This role sits within our Rapid Capability Delivery organisation, where engineering teams work at pace to design, integrate, trial, and deliver capability in response to evolving operational needs. You will apply system engineering expertise within multidisciplinary teams to support design maturation from concept through to verification and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support systems engineering activities to help mature designs toward integrated, delivery‑ready solutions under guidance from senior engineers.
  • Contribute to software, hardware, and systems integration activities as part of a multidisciplinary engineering team.
  • Assist with the preparation and conduct of design reviews, integration activities, and trials, ensuring engineering tasks are completed to required standards.
  • Identify and investigate technical issues, escalating complex problems to senior engineers as appropriate.
  • Support delivery activities by completing assigned engineering tasks in accordance with project plans and priorities.
  • Apply established engineering processes, tools, and best practices to develop professional capability.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to share progress, results, and emerging issues.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Requires a University Degree in Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in Systems Engineering involving one or more of the following: requirements definition, requirements management, analysis, design, verification and validation
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
  • Initiative, motivation and desire to achieve
  • Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision and deliver completed work on schedule
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
