YOUR ROLE
The System Engineer is responsible for the analysis of the Stakeholder Requirements on SYS.1 level. In SYS.2 specify and describe the Use Cases and the Functions, support definitions and specification of automotive system, ensure traceability from stakeholder Requirements, refine uses cases of system architecture design.
Major Accountabilities:
Participates in Program Increment Planning, System check out tests, System
Demos and Retrospectives.
Provides oversight and foster Built-In Quality.
Prepare and Perform Release and Documentation process.
Support of:
Supports the implementation of Products System Requirements by clarifying open issues.
Contributes on System DFMEA.
Support Functional Safety Engineer activities clarifying the feature functionalities and characteristics.
Support Test case creation and Software Implementation Peer Review.
Support System architectural Design with traceability to system requirements.
Provides effort estimations for customer change requests.
Analyses customer change requests to define change impact in assigned functionalities
Authorities:
Creates Change Requests for Customer / Stakeholder Requests out of scope.
Escalate unclear or conflicting stakeholder requirements for resolution.
Create and Approve Sys functional and non-functional Requirements and Trace to
Stakeholder.
Create features and traceability also update feature status through the lifecycle of the
project.
Training and Lesson Learn Documentation.
Requirement issues analysis, reject, clarify and close.
Sys Requirement functionalities clarification.
Technical Interface with customer.
Ensure Compliance with Automotive Standards.
Document and Perform System Validation Process
Your Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (computer science, software, electrical, or related field of study)
• Interpersonal skills, strong analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and a positive approach to challenge
• Cross functional interests, ambitious and self-driven. Adaptive, comfortable with ambiguity
• Ability to effectively manage several projects at once
• Strong soft skills: skilled networking creation, influencing skills, constantly learning, positive and ownership profile
• Knowledge of programming (C or other language)
• Strong experience with embedded systems designs
• Strong experience with system/software development processes (Automotive SPICE) and tools
• Strong experience with embedded hardware and serial communication tools
