    Role Details

    We are seeking a talented Systems Developer with expertise in systems integration and DevOps to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will maintain and enhance our current business solutions while driving innovative transformation projects across the University's systems. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and high performance, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.

    Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and integrating complex systems, with a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced tools and services for continuous improvement and automation. Experience with DevOps infinity loop tools, such as those used for planning, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring, will be highly valuable. This role requires a proactive approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for driving technological excellence.

    You should have a first degree or equivalent experience ideally in an IT-related area, along with a background of working as a developer on complex enterprise-wide systems.   You’ll also have experience of working in a formal project environment and in producing training materials, user guides, technical documentation, and process documentation.  In addition, you will be an excellent communicator, with great teamwork skills and a strong customer focus.

    Whilst we offer flexible and hybrid working across the University, you will be required to work on-campus at least 2 days per week.
