DESCRIPTION:
As a Systems Analyst I at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute to supporting and enhancing our mission to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. You'll provide technical expertise and system support across our enterprise applications, working with current technologies in a collaborative environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams while delivering effective solutions that drive business efficiency and growth. You'll resolve complex technical issues, implement system improvements, and ensure seamless operations of critical business applications. We're looking for analytical professionals who are dedicated to technology and ready to contribute in an organization that values integrity, innovation, and involvement.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's Degree required, no prior experience required in systems analysis, technical support, or related IT role
• Preferred Fields of Study: Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related technical field
• Additional relevant certifications are preferred (e.g., ServiceNow, specific platform certifications)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Experience with enterprise software applications and databases
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and relevant technical tools
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with documentation and process improvement
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of IT security principles and compliance requirements
• Participation in on-call rotation as needed
• Ability to work in a regulated environment following standard operating procedures
• English proficiency required
