As a Systems Analyst I, you will perform workstation, software, peripheral, network, and workflow support while contributing to solution development, assisting with project assignments and documentation, and supporting operational and business objectives. This position supports Sustain the Mission activities related to modernizing and managing the ITD Infrastructure Print environment. In this role, you will help identify the most effective technology capabilities, define task-level resource needs, contribute to task planning, and maintain clear, collaborative communication. You will also provide first-level diagnostic Help Desk support and participate in after-hours and on-call responsibilities.
A caregiver in this role works a hybrid schedule, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with onsite presence at CCAC two days per week and an initial expectation of four to five onsite days per week during onboarding.
This role also requires travel up to 50% throughout Northeast Ohio and may include future on-call responsibilities approximately once every six weeks.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Perform workstation, software, peripheral, network and workflow support.
Provide input to develop solutions.
Assist with project assignments and documentation, operational and business objectives, best technology capabilities, task level resource requirements, task plans, and collaborative communications.
Provide first level diagnostic Help Desk and after-hours support, including on-call responsibilities.
Provide application, technical and preventative maintenance support for multiple end-user systems.
Contribute to departmental projects and solutions implementation.
Demonstrate, through output, a solid understanding of networking and distributed computing environment concepts and principles of client/server configuration.
Support development of information system requirements including process and documentation creation and maintenance.
Maintain user confidence.
Protect operations by keeping information confidential.
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field and one year of implementation, support and management of computer-based information systems experience, preferably in a health care environment, or equivalent experience in end user training or in an operational or financial role utilizing the systems or data generated by the systems supported by this position required
OR High School Diploma/GED and three years of experience
OR High School diploma/GED, successful completion of ITD apprenticeship program and two years of experience
OR Bachelor’s degree
For Information Technology Division caregivers, ITIL Foundations certification is required within 6 months of position start date
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Microsoft, CompTIA or equivalent certifications
Experience in a healthcare environment
Hands-on experience with Excel, SQL and PowerShell
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment.
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
Personal Protective Equipment:
Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
