System Tester

About the Role:

As a System Tester in our Navi Mumbai R&D team, you’ll play a key role in validating the performance, safety, and reliability of our robotic lawnmowers. Your work will involve hands-on outdoor testing in real-world environments, ensuring our products meet the highest standards before reaching customers. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams in India and Sweden, contributing to the development of cutting-edge autonomous technology that enhances the customer experience.​

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute manual and automated system-level testing of robotic mowers, primarily in outdoor environments.​

  • Participate in daily agile stand-ups and sprint planning with global teams.​

  • Represent the Mumbai test team in project syncs, providing updates and insights.​

  • Identify, document, and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with software, hardware, and design teams.​

  • Maintain detailed test reports and provide data-driven recommendations for improvements.​

  • Support test infrastructure setup and contribute to continuous improvement of test strategies and tools.​

  • Travel to test sites across India and occasionally to Sweden for on-site validation and collaboration.​​

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in system or embedded testing, preferably in robotics or consumer electronics.​

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies (black-box, white-box, regression, etc.).​

  • Experience with Power BI, Python, and automation scripting for test execution and data analysis.​

  • Hands-on experience with test management tools like JIRA, Zephyr, or TestRail.​

  • Familiarity with embedded systems, sensors, and motor control is a plus.​

  • Excellent communication skills to work across global teams and present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.​​
