Job Purpose
GSK is looking to hire a Systems Solutions Manager to join our Hepatology Team. This role is field-based and reports directly to the Commercial Director, Hepatology . This position covers the Canada West territory of BC & Alberta, and requires 60–80% travel, including overnight travel. Only candidates currently living in Canada, with the legal right to work here, will be considered for this role. The ideal candidate will reside within the assigned region.
As a Systems Solutions Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating and engaging with key accounts, institutions, and stakeholders in hepatology to drive innovative business solutions that enhance patient access to GSK medicines. You will identify institutional barriers to effective product utilization and lead the development and implementation of strategic plans to optimize care pathways and improve patient outcomes. You will work cross-functionally with internal partners and external stakeholders to ensure successful integration of GSK treatments within hospital systems and patient support programs (PSPs).

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following:
• Serving as the primary field-based point of contact for assigned institutions, supporting successful GSK product integration and utilization
• Building strategic, collaborative relationships with institutional stakeholders and key decision-makers to develop patient-focused solutions for access to new hepatology treatments
• Investigating and mapping patient models of care, including site-specific and provincial treatment pathways, protocols, workflows, systems/software integration, and PSP implementation considerations for Chronic Hepatitis B medicines
• Identifying clinical, economic, and operational gaps and barriers, and leading the development and execution of innovative solutions to optimize patient access and outcomes
• Influencing institutional decisions to support operational integration and optimal care pathway placement of new treatments
• Ensuring launch excellence by optimizing the patient journey at the intersection of patient pain points, brand priorities, and health system barriers
• Gathering and sharing timely insights from the external healthcare community to inform cross-functional strategy and execution
• Evaluating PSP customer experience for assigned institutions and communicating performance on a quarterly and as-needed basis, while identifying regional trends and contributing insights to the PSP Lead and Commercial team
• Conducting in-depth analyses to uncover care gaps, local barriers, and key customer needs to drive institutional strategic objectives
• Enhancing operational excellence and identifying process optimizations as PSP programs evolve
• Ensuring all activities align with internal governance, GSK policies and procedures, and applicable healthcare laws and regulations

Basic Qualifications:

• University degree (health sciences or business administration preferred)
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Specialty Care and strategic account management within hospital/institutional settings
• Strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, life sciences, or medical/nursing
• Proven ability to quickly build credible external relationships and influence high-impact stakeholders and decision-makers
• Strong business acumen with a demonstrated sense of urgency
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, assess current institutional states, and creatively develop optimal solutions
• Self-motivated, accountable, and results-driven with a passion for making a meaningful impact
• Excellent communication, customer engagement, and presentation skills
• Strong project management, organizational, and planning skills
• Solutions-oriented mindset with demonstrated problem-solving capability
• Bilingual (French and English)
• Valid driver’s license, safe driving record, and ability to travel 60–80% within the assigned region, including overnight travel
• Ability to analyze data and insights to inform strategic decision-making
• High adaptability and learning agility in a dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced degree
• Thorough understanding of hepatology markets and disease landscapes
• Established business relationships with healthcare professionals and stakeholders within hepatology
• Experience working in markets with complex reimbursement and treatment pathways
• Product launch experience in a new therapeutic area
This position requires the employee to drive routinely on company business and allows for the provision of a company-leased vehicle. However, to be eligible for this position and a company vehicle, GSK will need to obtain acceptable results from a license verification inquiry and drivers abstract review against its safe driver program requirements
