The Role and Impact We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Student to join our Linux GFX CI and Tools team. This role offers hands-on experience in graphics testing analysis and CI/CD automation within a collaborative engineering environment. You will work with cutting-edge open-source tools to analyze graphics test results, contributing to both diagnostic work and the automation infrastructure that powers our testing pipeline. As a member of a diverse team supporting multiple testing domains, you will gain deep exposure to real-world software engineering challenges while directly impacting product quality and team productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret graphics test results from CI and validation runs, identifying meaningful patterns and regressions.
- Work with open-source tools and frameworks designed for graphics testing analysis and metrics reporting.
- Contribute to Python-based automation scripts and tools that improve efficiency in test result analysis and reporting.
- Support the development and improvement of CI/CD pipelines, particularly those related to graphics validation on various hardware configurations.
- Collaborate with team members to debug test failures and validate fixes across the testing infrastructure.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute improvements to existing tools and automation.
- Engage with Docker and Jenkins environments to understand and enhance our containerized testing workflows.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Ability to maintain student status for at least one year.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail in data interpretation.
- Linux command-line familiarity and basic understanding of shell scripting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical findings clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with version control systems (Git) and pull request-based workflows.
- Knowledge of test automation and framework development.
- Experience with data analysis, visualization, or open-source tools.
- Familiarity with kernel drivers, hardware validation, or low-level software testing.
- Familiarity with Docker containers and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to open-source projects and collaborative development.
