The Role

We are looking for a System Management & Process Specialist to administer Linux/Windows operating systems and implement, operate, and improve IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Discovery solutions such as Snow Software, Flexera, IBM ILMT, and BMC Discovery. The role includes installation, configuration, scripting for deployments, operations, and production changes. Medium and Senior profiles will also support operating model design, CMDB governance, security, and optimization strategies across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Administer Linux/Windows OS and operate ITAM/Discovery solutions and in‑house tools.

Install, configure, script, and deploy ITAM/Discovery products; support production cutovers and environment changes.

Build custom rules, patterns, dashboards, and reports; prepare and present deliverables and integration outputs.

Manage interactions with user areas: change controls, monitoring enablement/disablement, maintenance windows, and incident handling.

Support standardization, integrations, and best‑practice adoption across ITAM/Discovery platforms.

Create standardized code instructions to accelerate delivery and reduce manual work.

(Medium/Senior) Advise on operating models, CMDB configuration, governance, security, and permissions.

(Medium/Senior) Propose monitoring and optimization improvements to increase platform value.

(Senior) Lead adoption strategies for ITAM solutions and customize TPL patterns for discovery.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • More than three years experience administering Linux and Windows OS.

  • Implementation, configuration, and administration of Snow Software, Flexera, IBM ILMT or similar (on‑prem or SaaS).

  • Knowledge of dashboard/report design and troubleshooting communication with ITAM/Discovery agents or agentless discovery.

  • Experience integrating with ITSM/ITAM, Event Management, Automation, or FinOps solutions.

  • Understanding of DevOps fundamentals and microservices architecture.

  • Programming knowledge in .NET.

  • Experience with on‑prem and/or cloud infrastructure (SaaS‑oriented).

  • Knowledge of ITAM/Discovery technologies.

  • Strong learning agility and adaptability.

  • (Medium/Senior) Ability to lead initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.

  • (Senior) Experience customizing TPL patterns and designing specialized reports.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience configuring Jira Cloud workflows and Atlassian customizations.

Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business needs into technical configurations and dashboards.

Clear and structured communication with business and technical teams.

Desired Certifications (Nice to Have)

Snow License Manager 8 SPE.

Snow Server and Enterprise Licensing Course.

Global ITAM‑SAM‑HAM‑ITSM Asset Management Certification.

BMC Discovery Certifications (Associate / Application Modelling / Professional depending on seniority).
