Job Description:
• Support system validation and integration activities for Intel NIC silicon and presilicon projects.
• Learn and understand system architecture, system requirements, and help build test plans together with system architects, design engineers, and firmware teams.
• Assist in writing and executing automatic test plans and system test procedures for presilicon and silicon features.
• Participate in handson integration and feature/product bringup in the lab.
• Help investigate and analyze root causes of test failures.
• Work with industrystandard validation tools such as Lauterbach, LeCroy, IXIA, and CI environments.
Qualifications:
• B.Sc. student in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with minimum 3 semesters to graduation.
• Knowledge or academic background in digital systems, computer architecture, or embedded systems.
• Familiarity with IP networking concepts and protocols (LAN, TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Basic handson experience or coursework with networking tools (e.g., Wireshark, Scapy, NetCat, IPtables) - an advantage.
• Programming experience in at least one language (Python / C / C++) - required.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment and understand systems end to end.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to investigate technical issues.
• Experience with lab equipment or validation/testing environments - advantage but not required.
