How you'll make an impact
In this challenging position, you will design sub-station control systems (SCADA) for high- and medium-voltage switchgear in accordance with the latest technology standards such as IEC 61850, IEC 104, and other protocols
You will integrate the systems, including the parameterization of the Ethernet-based communication structure
Furthermore, you will implement project-specific functions and software applications, carry out tests, and coordinate interfaces
Supporting on-site commissioning at facilities throughout Switzerland is also part of your role
You will support the project manager in technical matters and coordinate both customers and in-ternal partners
You will create operating manuals tailored to customer requirements
Your background
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
Basic knowledge of control and protection systems, RTU systems, or process automation systems is an advantage
You have basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network architecture
Alongside strong communication skills and team spirit, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and take responsibility
Fluent German (spoken and written) is required. Good English skills are essential; additional languages such as French are an advantage
