To strengthen our engineering team, we are looking for a System Engineer (SCADA/RTU) to work on control and protection systems in the field of power grid substations. How you'll make an impact

  • In this challenging position, you will design sub-station control systems (SCADA) for high- and medium-voltage switchgear in accordance with the latest technology standards such as IEC 61850, IEC 104, and other protocols

  • You will integrate the systems, including the parameterization of the Ethernet-based communication structure

  • Furthermore, you will implement project-specific functions and software applications, carry out tests, and coordinate interfaces

  • Supporting on-site commissioning at facilities throughout Switzerland is also part of your role

  • You will support the project manager in technical matters and coordinate both customers and in-ternal partners

  • You will create operating manuals tailored to customer requirements


Your background

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification

  • Basic knowledge of control and protection systems, RTU systems, or process automation systems is an advantage

  • You have basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network architecture

  • Alongside strong communication skills and team spirit, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and take responsibility

  • Fluent German (spoken and written) is required. Good English skills are essential; additional languages such as French are an advantage
