System Architect - Detect

We are looking for a System Architect for the Detect department at our R&D center in Prague. The candidate will be responsible designing and developing system architecture concepts for new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities

System Architecture & Requirements

• Design and develop system architecture concepts for new and existing products.

• Create and maintain functional requirements and system specifications.

• Ensure system architecture aligns with product, safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements Analysis & Technical Specifications

• Analyze customer and internal requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications.

• Identify system constraints, interfaces, and dependencies early in the development process.

• Support requirement traceability across system components and subsystems.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with internal development teams, suppliers, and customers throughout the product development process.

• Coordinate technical discussions to ensure alignment of architecture decisions and implementation.

• Support the integration of subsystems developed by different teams or suppliers.

System Integration

• Oversee the integration of developed components and subsystems into the overall system architecture.

• Ensure compatibility, performance, and reliability of integrated solutions.

• Support validation and verification activities during system integration phases.

Technical Support

• Provide technical expertise and architectural guidance to production and service teams.

• Support troubleshooting and resolution of complex system-level issues.

Innovation & Technology Development

• Contribute to the development of new technologies, architectures, and processes related to product development.

• Identify opportunities for system improvements, optimization, and innovation.

Intellectual Property

• Participate in the preparation and submission of patent applications related to system design, architecture, and new technologies.

LET´S TALK ABOUT YOU:

• Master's degree in electrical engineering or related field

• Minimum 4 years of experience in similar positions in the automotive industry

• Knowledge of automotive communication protocols

• Experience with software tools for system design and simulation

• Experience with testing tools and methods

• Excellent communication skills in English language

• Good teamwork and problem solving skills
