Job Description

  

A business unit of Teledyne Microwave Solutions, is a world leader in the design, development and manufacture of broadband high power helix Traveling Wave Tubes (TWTs), TWT Amplifiers (TWTAs), and Solid State High Power Amplifiers (SSPAs) from 10MHz to 44GHz, for top performance in the stringent fixed and mobile environments used in today’s ECM, radar and communications markets. Our state of the art products are found on nearly all major EW, Radar, and Communication platforms of the United States and its allies throughout the world. This job provides for a cross functional supervisor that will work with the Test and Assembly areas on a swing shift. Additionally the supervisor will take on future Ka/Q Band product lines moving from research and development to production. Supervisor will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Teledyne’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include providing leadership to employees, interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Ensure that lines reach production goals within budget and with a high level of quality. Determine work schedules and overtime, allocation of resources and machinery. Look for new ways to improve the efficiency of production lines. Prepares production reports. Works closely with planning to ensure material needs are met. Qualifications: 2 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university is a plus. Ability to read, analyze and interpret various business documents, technical procedures and government regulations.  Ability to write reports and correspondence. Ability to work with executive management and present data if required. Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to Trouble shoot failure analysis of assemblies is a plus. Experience with lean manufacturing is a plus To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP Software.

  

Salary Range:

$77,000.00-$102,600.000
