We are now looking for an IT Legal Counsel to join our Team!
This role would be ideal for candidates who strive for excellence when getting things done, whilst continuously seeking new and improved ways of impacting our day-to-day operations. Daily challenges
Draft, review and negotiate various types of customer contracts and contractual documents;
Provide ongoing advice to the Account teams regarding the legal and commercial implications of specific contract terms and conditions, including analyzing, drafting and reviewing IT contracts with respect to contract and commercial activities;
Working closely with DXC's pursuit teams and internal stakeholders on RFPs and new business opportunities;
Perform legal, administrative, and operational research to support the proposal and contract development;
Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues;
Guiding DXC's managers and ensure compliance with rules and regulations;
Develop DXC's positions on various legal matters.
Experience and skills required
Master`s degree in Law in IT/IP/contract
Professional Fluency in Swedish and English;
7+ years’ experience in a law firm and/or global corporation.
Outsourcing/supplier experience would be considered an advantage;
Good understanding of the contractual and commercial risks/issues in transactions;
Good working knowledge of the fundamental legal provisions of commercial contracts;
Ability to provide guidance/interpretation on existing contract provisions.
Position based in Copenhagen. This is a hybrid role, normally requiring 1-2 days a week at the office.
