SW PLC Engineer (Intern/Student)

A Day in Your Life at MKS Atotech Minsk

As an intern PLC software engineer at the Business Unit of Visutech Tech Playting, you will be part of our automation project development team! 


You will be analyzing system requirements, developing, and installing custom programmable logic code, testing system efficiency and performance, and providing operational customer support. To ensure success as a PLC developer, you should have excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and be able to work with minimal supervision. As a skilled PLC developer, you can easily identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose. 


You will join a dynamic and fast-paced environment and work in Agile team to design, build and roll-out our system software that delivers the company’s vision and strategy.

You will make an impact by
•    Developing and installing automation programs using Atotech automation software and custom coding languages.
•    Determining machine automation test criteria before the final roll-out.
•    Testing of solution for safety, efficiency, and reliability.
•    System and software troubleshooting.
•    Documenting development processes.
•    Providing clients with technical support.

Skills You Bring
•    3rd or 4th year Bachelor's student in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field.
•    Experience in industrial controllers programming. 
•    Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages
o    profound expertise in PLC programming with IEC 61131-3 languages (SFC, ST)
o    JavaScript programming experience
•    Strong skills in SCADA systems development and commissioning
•    Expertise in EtherCAT interface
•    Good English spoken and written skills
•    Ability to work with minimal supervision.
•    Ability to travel when required.
 

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of CAN and PROFIBUS fieldbuses
  • Knowledge of frequency inverters
  • Expertise in industrial robots programming
  • Knowledge of SQL
