Job Description Summary:
This position is part of Platform, Connectivity and Smart Services under ATM – Product and Services Engineering Organization and it falls under SW Engineer I job profile. Smart Services Connect and Sustain Engineering Team helps connect and sustain Unified Agent enabled customers.
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
This position is responsible for onboarding tasks for new Unified Agent (UA) customers and supporting tasks on sustaining UA as a prerequisite for Smart Services (some of the capabilities are Precision Diagnostic, Proactive Dispatching, Remote Event Viewer, Intelligent Dispatch, etc.) in Lifecycle support. On the support side it works on addressing communication and data validation issues and on onboarding side it requires understanding Unified Agent as a product and customizing its configuration per customer/case need.
These programs are foundation elements in re-designed Service Delivery process and allow to: predict a future Hardware failure; Intelligently dispatch an CE with the correct part, Repair operation as well as detailed information on the failure; Remotely Resolve a failure, avoiding the CE dispatch all together.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Candidates profile and qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting and analytic skills
• Basic coding and scripting experience
• Knowledge/Experience with database structures and query languages (Oracle SQL)
• Strong Excel Skills (Pivot tables)
• Data/ Business Analyst skills or experience desired (familiar with Power BI/Tableau)
• Motivated self-starter, with a high capacity for rapid learning and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work with global teams, multiple time zones and cultures
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work as part of a team or independently
