Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Senior Vice President of Operations (SVP, Operations) is responsible for setting and executing operational strategy in alignment with the company’s overall business objectives. This role provides executive leadership across all operational functions, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and consistent value delivery to clients and customers.
The SVP of Operations has full accountability for operational performance, profitability, and cost management, including ownership of the P&L for assigned business units. This leader oversees day-to-day operations, workforce strategy, process improvement initiatives, and productivity optimization to achieve short- and long-term financial and operational goals. The role also plays a critical part in building an inclusive, high-performance culture that supports employee development, engagement, and retention.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide executive leadership to multi-site operations across multiple functional areas, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and business priorities.
- Own and manage the P&L, including revenue growth, expense control, margin improvement, forecasting, and financial performance analysis.
- Establish operational goals, performance metrics, and accountability frameworks to ensure delivery against financial, service, quality, and productivity targets.
- Lead, coach, and develop senior leaders and management teams to drive performance against key business and client metrics.
- Utilize workforce planning methodologies to determine appropriate staffing levels, optimize resource allocation, and consistently meet or exceed client service-level agreements.
- Oversee a large hourly workforce through direct and indirect leadership, ensuring effective training, development, engagement, and retention strategies.
- Identify, implement, and sustain continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, scalability, and productivity while reducing operational costs.
- Partner with customers, clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure value-added service delivery and long-term relationship growth.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that support both short-term execution and long-term business growth; monitor results and adjust strategies as needed.
- Act as a change leader by driving organizational transformation, implementing new processes and technologies, and leading initiatives that advance the company’s competitive position.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive culture that promotes accountability, innovation, and professional growth across the organization.
BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE)
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive operational leadership experience, including management of a large hourly workforce.
- Demonstrated experience with P&L ownership, financial management, and operational budgeting.
Preferred:
- Experience within the automotive industry, automotive title industry or a related regulated environment.
- Proven success with leading multi-location or complex service operations.
