About this Position
The brokerage focused Senior Vice President is responsible for the sales and marketing of PFS Investments Inc.'s various investment products and initiatives. This role will have direct responsibility for the product marketing and management of mutual funds, annuities, small business marketing, educational savings and representative incentive programs. Additionally, this role also assists other home office teammates with managed accounts, training initiatives and securities licensing efforts. This individual is responsible for our strategic partner relationships while strategizing ways to improve communications, marketing programs, future product evaluation and sales growth.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
- Product Management
- Ensure our representatives have top solutions to offer for our clients. Products areas of responsibility consist of mutual funds, annuities, educational savings plans and small business retirement plans. Responsibilities also include management of rep incentive programs.
- Third Party Relationships
- Manage relationships with our many third-party relationships across each product line. Work with strategic partners to find new ways to enhance the products, training and tools available to our representatives.
- Department Marketing
- Develop marketing and training plans for various initiatives, products and rep incentives. The candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills is completing the task involves coordination with multiple departments. Responsibilities also include the development of new marketing initiatives and materials. Candidate is also responsible for the promotion of various major events offered by the company, including the securities leadership events.
- Communications - Field, external and internal
- Work with field leaders to solve inquiries, answer questions and increase product knowledge. Work with various departments internally to find new ways to enhance productivity, efficiency and to drive sales growth. Candidate is expected to present PFSI messaging in field presentations, live and on Zoom, and strategic partner events. Travel may be required.
- Managerial Responsibilities
- Candidate will be responsible for compiling and completing various reports and presentations for executive management. This role provides direct support for the department EVP.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Business Administration, Finance, Marketing or equivalent business experience
- 6 - 10 years’ experience in the investments industry. Must possess a diverse skillset and have proven experience managing multiple projects, teams and initiatives. Strong interpersonal, communication and speaking skills required.
