Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Vice President, Relationship Manager to join our Client Service team in London. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for cultivating and expanding a portfolio of institutional European client relationships. This is a results-oriented position requiring deep investment knowledge and a proven track record of relationship building with institutional investors. The candidate will be responsible for understanding the marketplace, individual client needs and objectives, strategically positioning Acadian’s capabilities and generating growth across the client base.  The candidate must have the ability to solve problems, effectively communicate, successfully work across internal groups, and meet the demanding, time-sensitive needs of Acadian’s client base.

Acadian supports a hybrid work environment, employees are on-site in the London office at least 3 days a week.

 

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic Relationship Building: Maintain, build and nurture long-term, trusting relationships with Acadian’s clients and key stakeholders to foster strong partnerships that lead to sustained growth and positive brand reputation. Offer strategic vision and solutions to best aligning Acadian and potential areas of product growth with client goals.
  • Drive Client Retention and Growth: Own and grow all aspects of the client relationship, ensuring client satisfaction and true partnership while positioning Acadian’s investment solutions to increase revenue opportunities and long-term retention.
  • Leadership & Client Development: Serve as a senior leader and partner on the Client Service team to ensure we continue to provide high quality client service as the industry needs evolve. Serve as the primary contact for assigned institutional clients, driving engagement and developing new business by understanding the client, their plan and objectives. Work to uncover cross-selling opportunities and deepen our client relationships. Use in-depth knowledge of the client’s market landscape (geography, industry, or client type) to advise clients on strategic decisions, and present customized solutions that address their needs while aligning with business goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams including Client Service, Consultant Relations, Distribution, and Investments to develop and execute tailored strategies that align Acadian’s capabilities with client objectives.
  • Maximize CRM Utilization: Leverage CRM tools to track and manage client interactions and service history, ensuring timely and effective follow-ups and providing all relevant departments with key insights to support the process.

We’re Looking for Teammates With:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA, CFA and/or graduate degree preferred.
  • Preferably the individual should have a minimum of 10 – 15 years of experience within the investment industry.
  • Proven ability to establish effective relationships both internally and externally.
  • Strong investment knowledge, presentation skills, written skills and team orientation.
  • Willingness to travel.
