We have an excellent opportunity for SVP, Finance & Treasury. This leadership role is responsible for driving enterprise-wide financial planning, analytics, and risk management for WEG, including developing and overseeing models and processes for the annual operating plan, forecasts, and five-year strategic plans. The role will deliver high‑impact reporting and analytics—both ongoing and ad hoc—to support informed decision‑making by the Board of Directors and business unit leaders, while also supporting the implementation and optimization of reporting and analytics systems that enable efficient, organization‑wide access to data (including Cognos, Tamarac, Salesforce, and other tools as identified). In addition, the role will identify, monitor, and help manage the firm’s financial risk profile to support sustainable growth and long‑term performance.

Primary Job Functions 

Lead financial processes related to annual plan, OT1/OT2 forecasts and 5-year strategic planning 

  • Work directly with executive team, BOD and sr. leaders to establish and model key assumptions, investments and results 

  • Deliver necessary documentation and ongoing reporting to leadership to manage and monitor results  

Development and deliver ongoing and ad-hoc reporting to WEG BOD and business leadership 

  • Ongoing KPI and key results reporting (monthly, quarterly, annually) 

  • Ongoing analytics of key results (i.e.  AUM roll forward results including new money, net flows, terms, etc.), financials (revenue and expense driver analysis) and staffing needs (including development of staffing models) 

  • Ongoing analysis and KPI reporting related to the company’s discretionary spending including marketing, M&A, etc.   

Support delivery of reporting and analytic systems  

  • Upgrade and maintain financial reporting in COGNOS or other tools for ongoing reporting and ad hoc analytics 

  • Leverage other analytic platforms (potentially Tamarac, Salesforce, etc.) to deliver enhanced analytics to sr. leadership to drive business results – AUM roll forward, advisor dashboards, marketing investments, etc.   

  • Become centralized “one source of truth” for key KPI results for WEG including playing active role in data governance and architecture 

  • Train and encourage use of proper reporting and analytic tools 

Lead identification, monitoring and management of the firm’s risk profile 

  • Oversee management of covenant and other requirements of debt and credit facilities  

  • Cash flow forecasting and analysis 

  • Identify major financial risks for firm and mitigation plans (i.e. financial flexibility in bear equity market scenario) 

Strategic Leadership  

  • Set strategic direction for the function and ensure successful execution  

  • Manage org structure to effectively meet functional objectives.   

  • Monitor functional trends; recommend and implement best practices  

  • Manage department budget  

  • Partner with their manager team and Human Resources to hire top talent and/or work through performance management concerns 

Education/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in finance, accounting or related field   

  • 15+ year track record of driving results and organizational growth within financial services and finance leadership roles 

  • Must be able to communicate and manage relationships sr. leadership across all departments  

  • Demonstrated skills in coaching and mentoring a staff  

  • Exhibit solid thought leadership and problem-solving capabilities   

  • Must actively pursue opportunities to increase visibility and value delivered throughout organization   

  • Must be able to understand and leverage data and analytics to improve decision making and results 

  • Excellent command of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. with an aptitude to learn new software
