Primary Responsibilities:
· Participate in recycling, landscaping, and housekeeping projects
· Maintain upkeep of facility as assigned by supervisor
· Environmental and general condition upkeep
· Organize and move materials related to tasks
· Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and process control equipment efficiently and safely
· Report problems with safety, quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Production Supervisor or member of management
· Support housekeeping efforts
· Contain/clean chemical spills
· Work safely in the manufacturing production environment
· Follow detailed verbal/written assembly instructions, processes, and procedures
· Properly fill out basic forms, reports, and label products correctly that pertain to job duties
· Communicate and work effectively with others
· Provide hands-on and verbal job function training to coworkers as needed
· Record daily all work performed and correct distribution of work time
· Use software systems as needed to complete job duties
· Contribute to culture of high-quality products
· Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
· Perform other job-related duties as directed by supervisor per CBA and company policies
· The Supervisor will instruct each employee in the responsibilities as listed in the procedures
· The Supervisor will inform each employee where to access the procedure manual
Job Expectations:
· Ability to work with your hands
· Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
· Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds
· Ability to work in extreme temperatures (hot/cold)
· Ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, reach at arm's length, stoop, kneel, and crouch
· Ability to use power tools, air tools, and other vibratory tools
· Ability to work around hot heavy machinery
· Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time
· Ability to move materials with a powered vehicle (forklift)
· Repetitive standing, bending, turning, and twisting for extended periods of time
· Specific vision requirements include close vision and color vision
· Must be able to pass a basic aptitude test, physical, with drug/alcohol test and background screen
· Candidates must be available to work all shifts including possible mandatory overtime on weekends
· Previous experience in a foundry setting

· Hearing Protection
· Face Mask
· Protective Clothing
· Steel Toe/Met Guard Shoes
Required Education/Experience:
· Must have high school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience
Work is scheduled in 8 to 10 hour shifts on Monday through Friday with the possibility of mandatory overtime throughout the week and on the weekend. Overtime is paid based on the current and applicable collective bargaining agreement. The facility does have multiple shifts, employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
