Sustainability Manager

NL-Hub Full Time

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It

As our new Sustainability Manager, you’ll turn data into direction and ambition into impact. You’ll lead the way in shaping The Social Hub’s environmental and social footprint, making sure our actions match our words. From carbon reporting to ESG compliance, you’ll be the go-to person who keeps us on track, on target, and always improving.

You’ll work hand-in-hand with teams across Europe to collect, analyze, and report sustainability data, while helping us meet evolving requirements like CSRD, B Corp, and SBTi. In short: you’ll make complex stuff simple, and meaningful impact measurable.

This role is part of our Sustainability & Impact team and reports directly to the Director of Sustainability. If you love bringing structure to sustainability, know your way around a spreadsheet, and enjoy nudging others toward better habits, this one’s for you.

In Case You Don’t Know Who We Are

Known for being the rule breakers in hospitality, TSH is a fun, creative and inspiring environment where everyone can work, stay, learn and play and most importantly – be themselves. As an employer we look, act and think like a hotel, but instead we offer a lot more. Think student accommodation, long and short stay options, gyms, talks, events, rooftop bar and eat & drink escapes as well as community and coworking spaces. Located in The Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, and the UK, with several new openings on the way, this hybrid hospitality concept may take root in the heart of Europe, but our plans are set for going global.

What You’ll Do

  • Collect and analyze environmental data across all our properties to track energy use, emissions, and other key sustainability metrics.
  • Lead ESG reporting for CSRD, EU Taxonomy, B Corp, and investor updates, keeping everything accurate and audit-ready.
  • Turn data into business insights that drive real change, from investment decisions to operational improvements.
  • Partner with teams like Operations, Finance, and Procurement to deliver sustainability projects from idea to execution.
  • Help implement and manage our ESG data platform and improve processes as regulations evolve.
  • Support supplier assessments and risk tracking to strengthen our sustainable procurement practices.
  • Contribute to climate strategy projects including SBTi target validation and climate resilience planning.

What You’ll Have

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in sustainability and/or ESG reporting roles, ideally in hospitality, real estate, or other multi-site operations.
  • Demonstrated experience with carbon footprint accounting using the GHG Protocol, including the full A–Z of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
  • Hands-on experience with sustainability reporting frameworks such as CSRD, B Corp, EU Taxonomy, and CRREM.
  • Strong Excel skills and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights.
  • A sharp eye for detail, accuracy is your superpower.
  • Great communication skills and confidence in following up with teams across departments.
  • Proven project management skills and the ability to keep multiple priorities on track.
  • Familiarity with the European ESG landscape and regulatory trends.
  • A business mindset. You can build business cases, support commercial decisions with sustainability insights, and balance impact with practicality.
