This project will include:
Research on the categories of scope 3 emissions as outlined by the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol
Research on best practices and/or case studies of scope 3 reporting
Relationship building with internal team members to identify required scope 3 information
Data collection and aggregation for emissions reporting
Access to sustainability team, business unit stakeholders, and U.S. Venture support team stakeholders
Final readout of scope 3 emissions work to Sustainability Team and other internal stakeholders
Potential secondary projects:
Assisting with U.S. Venture Open Sustainability initiatives (like waste and recycling program) as needed
Attendance at the U.S. Venture Open as a volunteer
Pursuing a bachelor's or advanced degree in Sustainability, Research or Data/Surveying background
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Heightened attention to detail
Self-motivating and intellectually curious
