In this dynamic environment, we are searching for a Sustainability & Climate Change Associate to join our team in Thessaloniki.
Make a real impact
Actively assist in the drafting of ESG and sustainability related proposals in the context of tendering for new business
Manage multiple and complex internal and external ESG information requests ensuring quality of deliverables in line with company standards and positions and ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
Assist clients in carrying out sustainability plans and initiatives by utilizing technical evaluations of the best available practices and technologies available
Engage on business level discussions/ workshops with clients and documenting business requirements
Develop and manage long term relationships at senior levels with clients
What you bring matters
BSc degree in Engineering or Finance is required
At least 1 year of client facing experience leading and delivering advisory work in the field of ESG, sustainability and climate change
Experience and proven track record in one or more of the subsequent domains:
-Sustainability reporting and disclosure including the application of GRI, ESRS, ATHEX ESG and other international standards/frameworks
-Carbon Footprint calculation, including Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
-Submission of ESG ratings, including EcoVadis and CDP
-CSRD readiness including Double Materiality Assessment
-EU Taxonomy assessment, including evaluation based on the provisions of the -EU Climate Delegated Acts (TSC, DNSH, MSS criteria and preparation of the EU Taxonomy disclosures
-Market research and presentations preparation for internal and external stakeholders
Excellent critical thinking, intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities
Strong research, analytical and report writing skills
Excellent project management skills and a demonstrated track record in overseeing challenging projects
High proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint and experience in handling large amounts of data
Strong personal initiative, agility and resourcefulness
Ability to express ideas verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise and professional manner (both in English & in Greek) including technical terminology
Strong verbal and writing skills in English and Greek
