The Sustainability & Regulatory Affairs (SRA) function sits within the Flutter Group, with the key objectives of developing, evolving, and driving an industry leading Positive Impact Plan (PIP), and setting the Group strategies and roadmaps for Safer Gambling, Environment, the Workplace and the Community – and for influencing the strategic direction of the Group’s two Divisions (US and International) as it relates to the PIP. The SRA is responsible for establishing the necessary governance, policies targets, tools and standards to ensure our ESG (risk and compliance), regulatory, and safe gambling matters are handled in a robust and agile manner.

As a Sustainability Analyst for Responsible Gambling at Flutter, you will support the continued evolution of our Responsible Gambling (RG) strategy (Play Well) through the effective management and collation of RG data, delivering accurate and timely reporting (internal/external), and through the generating of actionable analysis and insights. The role will provide high-quality analysis for material that will help inform senior collaborators and strategy development, including Board and CEO performance packs, annual bonus metrics, and other assurance-led reporting.
 
Working closely with the Sustainability Data & Assurance Manager, the Sustainability Analyst – Responsible Gambling will help track and validate Responsible Gambling KPIs, ensuring targets are robust, efficient, and reliable. Through effective analysis and stakeholder engagement, the role will help identify risks, evaluate effectiveness, and inform evidence-led decision-making within Play Well.

What you’ll do

  • Collect, validate, and maintain Responsible Gambling data across brands and divisions
  • Support the preparation of regular reporting, including Board packs, CEO updates, and quarterly/half-yearly submissions
  • Produce insights and forecasts on qualitative and quantitative data to inform strategy and action planning
  • Develop and maintain standardised templates and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity of RG data
  • Maintain process documentation 
  • Contribute to platform and tool implementation
  • Support the preparation of RG metrics for the annual bonus process
  • Coordinate target-setting and mid-year reviews of RG bonus, including data testing, scenario modelling, and validation
  • Monitor performance against agreed targets, highlighting risks and opportunities
  • Conduct data reviews and modelling to assess adoption and effectiveness of safer gambling tools
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities to strengthen Responsible Gambling outcomes
  • Communicate complex analysis clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Support horizon scanning, industry benchmarking and research on latest trends and regulatory matters
  • Work with divisional and functional collaborators to gather inputs and share insights
  • Collaborate across sustainability, compliance, and regulatory teams to ensure reporting alignment
  • Support teams across the business to establish reporting processs
  • Support divisions/brands to devise and implement RG action plans
  • Assist with completing ad hoc insight and data requests for business and external stakeholders

How you’ll do it

  • 2–3 years’ experience in an Analyst or similar data-focused role
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills (Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau or similar)
  • Experience in performance reporting, financial analysis, or data assurance within a large organisation
  • Competence in scenario modelling and KPI tracking
  • Advanced Excel and data modelling skills; experience with data visualisation tools desirable
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior team members
  • Proactive, meticulous, and adaptable, with the ability to manage cyclical and ad hoc reporting
  • Passion for driving sustainable change in business
  • Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team environment
  • Adaptable and comfortable navigating change and uncertainty, with an appetite to learn new technologies and approaches
  • Strong time and deadline management
  • Knowledge of betting & gaming industry and environmental matters
  • Track record supporting/or producing work included within Executive and/or Board level reporting
  • Understanding of audit, assurance, and governance processes, and experience feeding into annual external sustainability reporting processes
  • Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders
  • Understanding of emissions reporting standards and net zero principles desirable
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. data science, sustainability, environmental management) an advantage but not essential
