About the role
 

We are looking for a Sustainability Advisor to join the growing team on a permanent, full-time basis.
 

As our Sustainability Advisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of Elders sustainability and climate reporting obligations and programs. The role is pivotal in supporting Elders in transitioning to the new Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards, strengthening our ESG data foundations across environment, social and governance, and providing clear insights and information that support strategic and operational decision-making.
 

Responsibilities

  • Collect, validate, cleanse and consolidate ESG data across multiple business units and systems.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strengthen data integrity and documentation to support assurance and audit readiness.
  • Support the rollout, configuration, and optimisation of ESG data management software.
  • Ensure good data governance controls in place to satisfy external auditor expectations.
  • Provide broad project support across ESG initiatives, including planning, coordination and execution of workstreams.
  • Support the delivery of Elders’ climate-related and sustainability disclosures by preparing high quality narratives and enhancing disclosures.
  • Assist with managing the ethical sourcing platform, including data maintenance, analysis and preparation of insights and reports.

About you

  • Degree in Sustainability, Commerce, Finance, Data Analytics, Risk, or a related discipline.
  • Experience in sustainability reporting, ESG data analysis, or similar analytical roles.
  • Strong data analysis skills, including validation, consolidation, and interpretation of ESG and operational data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and general data management tools.
  • Solid understanding of ESG, risk management, governance, controls, and assurance processes.
  • Proven problem-solving ability with a practical, solutions-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong attention to detail, data integrity, and documentation.
