Surveyor - Property Management

JLL are seeking a Surveyor for our Property Management team. We are the largest and longest established Commercial Property Management business operating in the Irish commercial property market.

What this job involves: 

• Identify, implement and execute added value initiatives across our managed property portfolio

• Create, implement and deliver annual property strategy plans and building condition assessments

• Foster and develop key relationships with property clients, landlords, tenants, occupiers and chartered surveyor advisors

• Assist with property management functions including building surveys and facilities management across the portfolio

• Assist on rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidations assessments and void lettings to maximize rental income

• Conduct building condition surveys, property inspections and compliance monitoring

• Liaise with the Property Management Accounts team in providing excellent financial management services to our clients

• Assist with client reporting including building survey reports and property condition assessments for portfolios under your management

• Join the No. 1 Market Leader in commercial property surveying in Ireland

Required competencies: 

• Property/Surveying Qualification essential to degree level (RICS/SCSI membership an advantage) & clean Irish drivers' licence

• Knowledge of Irish building regulations, property law and health & safety compliance

• A confident and capable surveyor keen to take an active role within the property management team

• Able to identify building defects, implement maintenance strategies and execute added value across the portfolio

• Experience with property valuations, building condition surveys or facilities management desirable

• Strong technical surveying skills with ability to read architectural drawings and building plans

• The ability to work within a property team and on own initiative

• Enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated professional

• Strong verbal and numerical skills, comfortable with technical report writing and building survey documentation

• Excellent time management and organizational skills essential for property portfolio management

• The ability to be flexible and work under pressure in Dublin's commercial property market
