Position Summary:
Observes all gaming and property activity including but not limited to, cashiering operations, slot operations, cash handling, and count rooms.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes superior guest service
- Maintains, and perpetuates a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
- Utilizes the necessary surveillance equipment to respond to, identify and record questionable activities
- Digitally records activities in the casino, count rooms, slot booths, cashier cages, and back of house areas, and reports all illegal and unusual activity
- Completes training on an ongoing basis
- Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED; Recognized Equivalent of a High School Diploma (RED) or Foreign High School Diploma (FHD)
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to foster a supportive and enabling team environment.
- Candidate is open and receptive to learning new methods.
- Must possess strong reading, listening, writing, and visual skills and hand-eye coordination.
- The ability to effectively learn and demonstrate proficiency in surveillance camera operation is required.
- Must be able to observe and report in an objective manner.
- Ability to work in a secluded, enclosed environment for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours.
- Must be willing to work in a smoking environment.
- Must be willing to adhere to company health and safety measures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Work experience in surveillance, investigations, or gaming industry preferred.
- CCTV experience preferred.
*Due to the sensitive nature of the Surveillance position, transfer options may be limited to other departments.
