Summary:
Join our surgical team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. Working under the direction of a licensed healthcare professional, you will support the surgical team across preoperative and perioperative phases, ensuring each procedure is set up for success. In this role, you will leverage your expertise to gather and prepare the appropriate instruments, equipment, and supplies for a wide range of surgical procedures, assist in preparing the surgical suite, and actively support the surgeon during operations.
You will be responsible for maintaining strict sterile and aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. We are looking for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who is committed to continuous learning and growth, actively participating in trainings, staff meetings, and educational opportunities to further develop their skills and contribute to a high-performing surgical team.

We offer a starting pay of $32.48 - $38.68 per hour which consists of a base salary and geographic differential. This includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience

Certification Requirement
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree in surgical technology with graduation from an accredited OR Technician Program; or
2. Two (2) years of OR Technician or related experience gained through military service.
NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain and maintain Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); administered by a nationally accredited surgical technologist credentialing organization, or other comparable certification program recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as appropriate for this title.
2. Incumbents must complete fifteen (15) hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a surgical technologist.
3. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
