Summary:
Join a dynamic surgical team where precision, preparation, and teamwork make a life-changing difference every day. Under the direction of a licensed healthcare professional, this role plays a vital part in supporting patients through the preoperative and perioperative phases of care in the operating room. You will bring expertise and confidence to the surgical suite by anticipating needs, gathering and preparing specialized instruments and equipment, and ensuring every procedure is set up for success. Serving as a key assistant to the surgeon, you will help maintain a sterile, safe, and highly efficient environment while supporting a wide range of complex surgical procedures. This position offers the opportunity to grow professionally through ongoing education, in-services, and collaborative team engagement—empowering you to continually advance your skills while contributing to exceptional patient outcomes.
Salary range for this position is $63,506-$75,630 annually which includes a comprehensive benefit package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience.

Certification Requirement
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)
Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree in surgical technology with graduation from an accredited OR Technician Program; or
2. Two (2) years of OR Technician or related experience gained through military service.
NOTE:
1. Incumbents must obtain and maintain Certified Surgical Technologist (CST); administered by a nationally accredited surgical technologist credentialing organization, or other comparable certification program recognized by Roswell Park Cancer Institute as appropriate for this title.
2. Incumbents must complete fifteen (15) hours of continuing education to remain qualified to practice as a surgical technologist.
3. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
