Pay Range
$25.30 - $37.95Ensure quality patient care, safety, and advocacy through critical thinking, anticipation, and management of case‑specific needs under the direct supervision of the RN.
Maintain complete, accurate, and timely care and cleanliness of instruments, equipment, and supplies.
Communicate effectively, positively, and professionally with the surgical team, co‑workers, and patients using both verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
Support high‑efficiency turnover workflows and assist with room turnover to maintain on‑time case starts.
Ensure accurate case cart preparation and restocking for daily schedules.
Prepare and pick surgical cases for next‑day schedules by reviewing surgeon preference cards, case schedules, and procedural requirements to ensure instruments, supplies, and equipment are complete and available.
Demonstrate cost‑containment practices related to instruments, equipment, and supply inventory.
Take personal responsibility for performance, professional growth, and ongoing development.
Graduation from a Surgical Technology program or completion of an accredited School of Nursing.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
Certification in a surgical specialty area preferred.
Ability to function effectively in stressful and fast‑paced environments.
Resilience and flexibility in a constantly changing setting.
Knowledge of patient safety systems and standards.
Competence with technology and informatics utilized in surgical care.
