Job Summary: THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SURFACE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST T32, Position Description Number D1254000 and is part of the AZ CSMS, National Guard.

Major Duties:

  • This position is located in Phoenix, Arizona with the CSMS. The primary purpose of the work is to analyze and evaluate maintenance operations, production, and procedures; and make recommendations for improvement. This requires practical knowledge of, and skill in applying, principles, concepts, and methods of surface maintenance equipment, facilities, and service operations. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Qualifications: Military Grades: Enlisted: E4/SPC/CPL - E9/SGM/CSM Warrant Officer: W1/WO1 - W3/CW3 Warrant Officer Candidate in the grades of E4-E9 Compatible Military Assignments: Possess or able to obtain at least one of the following MOSs: Enlisted: 88M, 91 Series, 92 Series, or 94 Series Warrant Officer: 88M, 91 Series, 92 Series, or 94 Series SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade (as stated above) that provided experience, education or training applying principles, concepts, and methods of equipment, facility, or service operations sufficient in designing projects or planning assignments. Experience using well-established occupational methods and techniques to determine facility, grounds, equipment overhaul, maintenance, restoration, repair needs, etc. Experience, education or training applying commonly used equipment, facility, or service principles and concepts sufficient to obtain on-the-job experience with equipment, facilities, or services. Experience performing highly structured assignments under strictly controlled situations.
