Surety Account Manager

Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Surety Account Manager to their Acentria team in Panama City, FL.

The Surety Account Manager is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the commercial and construction surety sales team. This role manages the end‑to‑end processing of bond requests, maintains strong relationships with underwriters and clients, and ensures a high level of service delivery. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Prepare, review, and process commercial and construction surety bonds, including bid, payment, performance, maintenance, and miscellaneous bonds.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, underwriting submissions, bond logs, and bond files.
  • Coordinate bond renewals, continuations, and riders, ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met.
  • Assist with gathering and organizing financial documents and underwriting information needed for bond approvals.

Client & Agency Support

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding bond requests, status updates, renewals, and documentation.
  • Provide timely, professional communication and support to ensure an excellent client experience.

Underwriter & Carrier Relations

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with surety underwriters across multiple carriers.
  • Submit underwriting files, respond to carrier inquiries, and follow up on outstanding approvals or requirements.
  • Ensure all submissions are complete, accurate, and aligned with carrier guidelines.

Operational & Administrative Support

    • Maintain and update agency management system records for accuracy and compliance.
    • Assist with invoicing, billing corrections, and tracking of premiums as needed.
