Purpose Statement: Responsible for directing and coordinating the planning team activities in the development of a master production schedule. Coordinate and direct resources based upon balancing customer demand requirements and feasibility to optimize Customer Service Excellence, minimize potential inventory liability, days of inventory and support the site revenue plan.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Ensure direct functional team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions, focusing on optimizing both customer and Plexus success.
- Act as a liaison to customer for Demand and Planning issues to ensure effective resolution. This will also include ensuring team members are trained and have a good understanding of the requirements of customer contracts (LOI/LOU, PSA, MSA, etc.) and are in compliance with the applicable requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to direct reports, promoting a positive work environment, fostering employee development monitoring workload distribution and allocating tasks appropriately.
- Responsible to exemplify and hold their team accountable to demonstrating the Plexus Core Values. Leader will focus on evaluating potential, driving succession planning, and ensuring their employees receive the development and coaching required to realize their full potential.
- Leverage data analysis, problem-solving, and analytical skills to provide cross functional teams insights about the master production schedules that drive informed decision-making.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field

- Employee must possess good written and oral communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills.
- The ability to take a proactive approach, and take ownership for all activities related to the success of the Focus Factory in order to ensure successful operations.
- Employee must work safely at all times and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
- Must have computer experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn Plexus Data Collection and MRP/ERP systems. General office equipment and materials.
