Salary Range: $120548 - $185193 Per Year

Major Duties:

  • You will organize, plan, assign and direct new and ongoing tasking.
  • You will evaluate the work results of subordinates and set objectives for them to achieve branch compliance.
  • You will oversee the execution of branch tasking that is operational in nature, as well as ensure efficient and effective operation of branch technical and business processes.
  • You will resolve work problems which may technical and/or personal in nature.
  • You will approve timecards, travel authorizations/vouchers, and leave for subordinates, and manage incentive pay and performance evaluations in accordance with NUWC policy.
  • You will recommend discipline, promotions, and awards/recognition for subordinates, as well as establish training plans and provide technical and career guidance to subordinates and other outside of the branch.

  • You will utilize established project goals, to establish goals and priorities for branch and specifically for subordinates, as well as will assist in establishing overall branch goals and determine the direction of the branch.
  • You will support associated Technical Project Managers with budget forecasting.
  • You will support Code 104 with planning requirements for equipment purchases, facility improvements/modifications, and hiring and succession planning.
  • You will utilize established project goals, to establish goals and priorities for branch and specifically for subordinates.
  • You will support associated Technical Project Managers with budget forecasting.
  • You will maintain awareness of subordinates’ tasking status to include on time completion of deliverables and management of risk.
  • You will determine appropriate balance of government and contractor assignment to tasks to ensure overall workforce health and efficient execution of sponsor tasks.
  • You will participate in the development of overall planning for the Corporate Operations department and ensure that the Branch plans reflect overall department goals and are consistent with allocated resources.
  • You will ensure Continuous Process Improvement goals are met, and ensure steps are taken to reduce product life cycle costs.
  • You will address security safety, environmental, and other organization data calls and actions.

Qualifications: Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading branch operations, planning and directing team tasks, managing personnel development, and leading the technical effort of the branch by actively supervising the establishment and maintenance of IT service operations that are critical to the accomplishment of the command's mission.
