Salary Range: $127646 - $195190 Per Year

Job Summary: You will serve as a SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST as well as Division Head of Business Systems Compliance Division of SUPSHIP. You will serve as the Administrative Contracting Officer (ACO) and protects the interests of SUPSHIPNN customers.

Major Duties:

  • You will supervise three branches within the Business System Compliance Division (Earned Value Management (EVMS), Proposal Analysis and Rates and Closeout).
  • You will ensure contractor business systems operate efficiently, comply with regulatory and contractual requirements, and provide timely, reliable information for the management of Navy contracts.
  • You will provide the administrative and technical direction necessary to ensure all compliance, surveillance, and reporting efforts are accomplished efficiently.
  • You will receive all compliance external/internal audit products and ensure that all audit discrepancies are resolved within required time frames and that corrective action plans are implemented to prevent recurrence of problems.
  • You will oversee the Surveillance Program, which compares contractual requirements against real-time contractor performance schedules, controls, and industrial processes for the purpose of identifying systemic deficiencies and risk areas.
  • You will oversee the development and implementation of a Continuous Improvement (CI) Program that focuses on improvement of business system products and processes.
  • You will be responsible for the management, technical direction, and productive output of the branch.
  • You will ensure that all performance planning, monitoring, rating and rewarding tasks are accomplished as required and in a manner that enhances and sustains productivity.

Qualifications: In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialize experience at or equivalent to the pay band NH-03 (GS-13 equivalent) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: leading professional contracting teams to monitor contractor compliance and surveillance requirements.
