As a Support Operator – Utilities, you will support the daily operational activities required to keep plant utilities running reliably and consistently. You will help maintain essential utility systems such as air, water, gas, steam, and power distribution to ensure uninterrupted production performance. You will also support routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and coordination with maintenance teams to keep equipment operating safely and efficiently.

You will play a key role in maintaining operational stability, supporting production teams, and ensuring that utility processes meet safety, quality, and efficiency standards.

As a Support Operator – Utilities, you will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and supporting daily operation of plant utility systems (air, water, gas, steam, power).

  • Performing routine checks, readings, and inspections on utility equipment.

  • Supporting start‑up, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting of utility systems.

  • Coordinating with maintenance teams to report issues, abnormalities, or equipment concerns.

  • Ensuring proper operation of pumps, compressors, boilers, chillers, and other utility equipment as applicable.

  • Maintaining accurate logs, checklists, and documentation for utility operations.

  • Supporting material movement and housekeeping activities within utility areas.

  • Identifying utility‑related risks, leaks, or performance issues and escalating appropriately.

  • Ensuring safe operation of equipment and adherence to all HSE requirements.

  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance utility reliability and efficiency.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Have experience working in a utilities, manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment.

  • Have basic knowledge of utility systems such as air, water, gas, steam, or power distribution.

  • Be able to operate material‑handling equipment (forklift certification preferred).

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

  • Show good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

  • Have a proactive, safety‑focused mindset with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.

  • Possess basic computer skills for logging, documentation, and reporting tasks.
