Boeing Aerospace OperationsBoeing Global Services (BGS) is currently hiring for a Support Integration Specialist with broad range of experience levels including (Senior or Lead) to be a part of the Ft Walton Beach Engineering team. This position is an exclusive opportunity to help Boeing work everything from KC-130H Refueling Tankers to F-15 and F/A-18 fighter jets to V-22 rotorcraft, based out of Fort Walton, Florida.
This position is an exclusive opportunity to help us establish advanced support requirements, costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work break down, reports, master schedule, program implementation and integration plans. Oversee development of cost estimates for multiple projects and research and development efforts. Identifies the need for new processes and consults on process development to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current. Leads presentations creation, status reviews, and monitors execution of support programs. Reviews program and engineering change proposals and consults on the assessment of product support impact.
In this role you will have knowledge of the interaction between departments/disciplines and how their products/processes affect one another and impact non-engineering processes (e.g., Operations, Logistics, and Business). The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Position Responsibilities:
Ability to work onsite 5 days a week
This role may require domestic and International Business Travel (~5-10%)
Leads establishing support requirements, costs, technical objectives, definitions, statement of work break down, reports, master schedule, program implementation and integration plans
Leads creating estimates in support of proposal activities and research and development efforts
Monitors process development and coordination of activities to ensure technical data and procedures are documented and current.
Creates and leads presentations, status reviews, and monitors execution of support programs
Reviews program and engineering change proposals and assesses product support impact
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience with proposal development
5+ years experience using Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) and processes and methods
5+ years of experience aircraft logistics or maintenance
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
10+ years of experience gathering, preparing and analyzing engineering or technical data or equivalent for the development of support products including logistics engineering, logistics support analysis, technical publications, support equipment, spares, provisioning, field services, maintenance and operator training, etc., supporting product life cycle or equivalent
Experience with data elements associated with the logistics support analysis records or equivalent
Understanding of how to read and interpret engineering drawings and parts lists or equivalent
15+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
