What is the opportunity?

The Support Analyst - FSS Business Operations Support will leverage core finance systems process knowledge and experience in order to provide application and business support to the global user community, business and IT partner.

What will you do?

  • Process and verify client business rule changes (e.g. accounts, rates, operating units) ensuring appropriate approvals are in place.
  • Review business rule changes to ensure there is no negative impact on financial reporting.
  • Execute validation reports to ensure completeness and accuracy of business rule reporting structures.
  • Participate as subject matter expert (SME) in requirements gathering and user acceptance testing (UAT) pertaining to system support initiatives and maintenance releases related to finance systems
  • Review , update and keep current, task guides & standard operating procedures for internal processes in support of knowledge sharing
  • Participate in all SOX audit activities in support of finance systems ensuring compliance to all controls.
  • Ensure quality of service delivered is in line with the SLAs in place

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have

  • University degree
  • Experience with finance applications

  • Detail oriented, analytical, can work independently and is a fast learner
  • Good communication (oral & written) and interpersonal skills
  • Proven time management, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Change mindset and ability to apply a process improvement lens to all BAU activities

Nice to Have

  • Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt
