Job Summary: Serves as a Supply Technician in the Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) located in Murfreesboro, TN. The purpose of this position is to provide support work to ensure effective supple procurement operations and an effective equipment program. Incumbent performs a variety of duties to include but are not limited to spot checking inventory, product research, clerical, property management, reverse distribution, processing recalled product, and miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Major Duties:

  • Major duties include (but not limited to): Coordinating the functions of the property management program to include property accountability and classification. Cataloging entries into the Automated Engineering Management Systems/Medical Equipment Reporting Systems (AEMS/MERS). Responsible for the accuracy of all personal property records and property documents which support the general ledger accounts. Manage equipment requests and follow proper procurement guidelines. Monitors replacement of existing equipment and prepares and maintains the equipment plan. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm CST Virtual: This is not a virtual position. Qualifications: To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 01/09/2026. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-07 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-06. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade. Preferred Experience: Expresses information (i.e., ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, considering the audience and nature of the information (technical, sensitive or controversial); makes clear and convincing presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbals cues, and responds appropriately. Knowledge of the principles and methods for developing an integrated acquisition management plan that describes the business, technical, and support strategies, including the relationship between the acquisition phases, work efforts, and key program events (i.e., decisions points, contract awards, test activities). Selects, acquires, stores, and distributes resources such as materials, equipment, or money. You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below: Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-06 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience would include, but are not limited to the following description: Applying property accounting principles and inventory practices. Maintaining inventory accounts for expendable items in a fully computerized and integrated database system. Performing work in support of purchasing and/or procurement of services, products, supplies, and/or small purchase procedures. Advising and informing stakeholders concerning the management, control, and accountability of expendable items. Utilizing bar code scanning equipment and appropriate tagging equipment for inventory control purposes to identify and rectify inventory management issues.
