Your Impact
We are looking for a Supply Quality Technician who will contribute to the success of the Quality Control Team, applying their expertise in performing inspections and eye for detail to support the achievement of team and company goals and deliver innovative, reliable solutions. In this role, the successful candidate will collaborate effectively with colleagues and cross-functional teams, demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, and maintain a commitment to professional excellence, quality and continuous improvement.
The Role
A Supply Quality Technician is responsible for reviewing incoming products and materials, first article parts, and nonconforming parts identified during production to make sure they meet company requirements. This job involves performing inspections, keeping a record of defects, analyzing products, and providing input to Quality, Production, and Engineering and feedback on processes and procedures.
To be successful in this role, the Supply Quality Technician should possess a trained eye for detail and be a reliable and committed individual. In-depth knowledge and comprehension of quality standards are essential.
Job Responsibilities
Read part drawings, specifications, and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the parts and materials
Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and record supplier performance
Select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications, etc.)
Use automated systems to perform complex testing procedures
Maintain records of testing, information, and various metrics such as the number of defective products per day, etc.
Complete First Article Inspections as needed
Prepare and submit reports to the Supply Quality Manager
Accept or reject materials or articles; identify and document non-conformance and notify appropriate personnel of potential rejection of items
Review and inspect parts from production, engineering, and directly from suppliers as needed
Foster a collaborative and interactive team environment that supports both a learning and teaching culture
Follow established job safety practices, policies, and procedures as specified in plant directives for the safe performance of daily activities
Continuously evaluate processes for improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety

Required Qualifications
Knowledge of measuring devices and test equipment to support inspection and testing of all parts and sub-assemblies as needed.
Must be able to read blueprints and be capable of calculating print dimensions, angles, radii, etc.
Must have a working knowledge of production processes and product requirements.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Willing to cross-train to support different products as needed
Proven experience as a quality inspector or relevant role
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
Responsible and trustworthy
Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems
Thorough knowledge of quality control standards and testing methodologies
Working knowledge of MS Office
Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role primarily operates in an office/lab/manufacturing environment. Must be able to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods of time
Occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs. may be required

Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary range: $25.75 - $31 per hour, depending on experience

For new hires, offers are generally within the established min- to mid-point of the range for the role, with flexibility to recognize experience, skills, and education.
