Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world
As Supply Planner you will play a key role ensuring product availability and supply continuity for the Mexico market in the divisions of Commercial Branding and Transportation Division, Advance Material Division and Electronic Materials Solutions Division. In this role you will manage supply planning activities for a broad and diverse portfolio, working with regional teams, supply locations, transportation, trade compliance, warehouse operations, and commercial leaders. You will support inventory optimization, ensure service stability, and proactively prevent backorders in a highly dynamic demand environment.
The impact you will make in this role
You will manage end‑to‑end supply planning for a large and diverse SKU portfolio in a high‑complexity market.
You will execute planning strategies to maintain healthy inventory levels and prevent service disruptions.
You will coordinate with multiple global supply locations and cross‑functional teams to support reliable product flow.
You will lead regular alignment sessions with business teams to support Make‑to‑Stock and Make‑to‑Order commitments.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in planning/supply chain, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in supply planning, demand planning, materials planning, or similar roles.
Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Experience with large or complex portfolios.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP processes or advanced planning systems.
Proficiency in planning systems and data management tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder‑management skills.
Strong self and time management skills to support consistent planning execution.
Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M office in Santa Fe, CDMX.
