High-Level Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supply Planner to join our team. As a Supply Planner for medical products, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely availability of materials to meet patient and healthcare provider needs. You will develop and execute supply plans, manage inventory levels, and oversee purchasing and production planning activities. This role requires close coordination with suppliers and production teams, optimization of supply chain performance, and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities: The following are the primary duties and responsibilities of this role. Other related duties may be assigned to meet the business need.
Oversee end-to-end supply planning, including production planning and material procurement, to maintain efficient operations.
Leverage data analysis to drive decision-making and optimize supply chain planning and production execution.
Align production schedules with supply plans through coordination with production teams and demand requirements.
Manage inventory and safety stock policies to ensure supply continuity while optimizing inventory levels and reducing stockouts and excess inventory.
Coordinate with Demand Planning to align supply strategies with forecasted demand and organizational objectives.
Manage purchasing activities for production materials and finished goods, ensuring timely purchase order execution and effective supplier coordination.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Sales, Manufacturing, Marketing, Inventory, and Quality Assurance, to align priorities, resolve constraints, and support execution.
Manage supplier relationships to support procurement objectives, ensure on-time delivery, and address performance, quality, and supply risks.
Maintain and update MRP planning parameters in the system to ensure accurate and efficient material requirements planning.
Ensure effective distribution of products across locations, coordinating logistics and transportation as needed.
Ensure compliance with applicable medical and industry regulations, including FDA and GMP requirements.
Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audits and regulatory compliance.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve supply chain processes, efficiency, and effectiveness across operations.
Provide regular data-driven reporting on supply chain performance, including key metrics and KPIs to support decision-making.
Minimum Basic Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, purchasing, or a similar role, preferably within the medical products or healthcare industry.
Proven experience in managing inventory, purchasing, and coordinating with suppliers and production teams.
Experience using MRP systems for production planning, material requirements planning, inventory control, and purchasing coordination.
Proficiency in utilizing ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite/Oracle/SAP) to support inventory management, purchasing, and supply planning.

Desired Characteristics:
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supply chain data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable planning decisions
Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards and reports that visualize supply chain KPIs and enhance operational visibility
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Effective cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate and present insights to stakeholders and management
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on accuracy in planning and execution
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
