Responsibilities:
Key Processes Accountability
- Develop Mid and review Short-Term Supply Plan to toller manufacturer using Rough Cut Capacity Planning to validate supply capabilities
- Develop and provide expected demand for ingredients and packaging materials to suppliers on regular basis. Obtain supply capability confirmation.
- Identify and initiate response to raw material service/quality complaints from manufacturing. Initiate return material process involving QA and Sourcing.
- Sustain healthy inventory level by effective DSI, aging and non-standard inventory review.
- Maintain accurate raw material and supplier master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times and safety stocks, supports and escalates issues with BOM, recipes etc.
Product Supply
- Initiate and execute short and mid-term supply optimization from given customer demand and plant cost and capacity structure and communicate with the organization
- Communicate production issues, supply changes, deviations from plan and potential resolutions to appropriate parties like customer service, logistics and distribution requirement specialist and other key stakeholders.
- Create, validate and maintain a valid materials plan based upon the Master Production Schedule.
- Monitor production/purchasing orders & assuring closed as needed, accurate production/purchasing orders are used to maintain system & data integrity.
- Coordinate secondary processing of finished product (e.g., rework and repackaging).
- Primary interface between toller manufacturing and supply chain.
Financial Impact of Operations & Improvement
- Supports the working capital processes across the business regional supply chains in support of business initiatives.
- Leads the continuous improvement of the production schedule & material planning process
- Ensure the right materials are procured at the right time, quality and quantity to minimize production and storage costs, based on the material plan.
- Execute the plans for non-productive raw materials for disposition. Manage health of raw materials, semi-finished and packaging materials.
- Manage levels, replenishment models, product mixes and stocking locations for in-process product.
Qualifications
- BS/BA Supply Chain, business field is required, above 3 years in supply planning role
- Contract manufacturing or vendor management experience is preferable
- Good communicator and influencer who can negotiate with different levels in the organization
- Able to facilitate discussions towards resolution
- Process oriented, strong time management skills and result oriented
- SAP, Excel, Power BI general competency or ability to learn quickly on the job
- APICS CPIM / CSCP must be obtained on the job within 18 months
