As a Supply Chain Team Lead in IDEXX’s Receiving group, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Supervisor to ensure daily operational priorities are executed accurately and on time. You will be a highly reliable, resourceful presence on the floor—helping troubleshoot issues, maintain organization, coach team members, and keep the operation running smoothly. This role is hands-on, detail-driven, and focused on keeping work moving efficiently while serving as a point of support for the team. You will support floor flow, organization, and execution under the direct direction of the Supervisor.
This role requires strong computer skills (especially Excel), exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to communicate clearly, directly, and respectfully.
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday
What You’ll Do
Assist in keeping the floor flowing, organized, and productive at all times
Support execution of supervisor-assigned priorities and daily workflows
Keep work moving during constraints, shortages, or disruptions
Support receiving in trucks to support operations and maintain overall flow
Operate a forklift as needed to support the team during staffing gaps or high-volume periods
Coach and support team members through clear, direct, and empathetic communication
Communicate directives while maintaining trust and respect
Ensure the team is maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Rally the team during high-pressure or high-volume periods
Serve as a consistent, steady presence aligned with supervisor direction
Model integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail at all times
Spend a significant amount of time on the job performing computer-related work
Use Excel to manage barcodes for serialized materials
Utilize Outlook for communication and coordination
Assist with troubleshooting, issue escalation, and problem-solving when directed
Possibly support investigations under supervisor direction

Strong written and verbal communication skills
SAP experience is a plus
Physical & Work Environment Demands
Standing for 2+ hours, sitting, computer and phone use
Frequent computer use (keyboard, mouse, monitors)
Occasional lifting, bending, and equipment operation
Forklift operation as needed to support team success
